Rake Up Meridian

Rake Up Meridian was a success, even in spite of the cold weather! Nearly 30 homes of Meridian seniors and others in need of help were raked during the event.

Sanitary Services Company had a team to help rake, and a fun afternoon was enjoyed by everyone.



Meridian Community Service Connection


A new community group, The Meridian Community Service Connection (MCSC) met on October 24, 2011 in the SSC Conference Room.

The service club leaders came together to work on projects and to plan events.

The MCSC schedule will be posted on the Meridian City calendar in the future.

Idaho Trucking Association Safe Driving Award

On August 12, 2011 SSC won an award from the Idaho Trucking Association for safely driving 250,001-500,000 miles in 2010 with no reportable accidents!


SSC Rodeo

Sanitary Services Company held a "Rodeo" in our parking lot to challenge the skill of our drivers, as well as provide a fun-filled day for our employees to share with their families.


Meridian Old Town Community Clean Up

The annual "Meridian Old Town Community Clean Up" held in May was another huge success - the community work together to clean up part of our wonderful town.


Additionally, $1,000 worth of metal was recycled, with the proceeds going to the Meridian Senior Center!

Business Person of the Year

Congratulations to Doug Mason of Sanitary Services Company for being named "Business Person of the Year" at the Meridian Chamber of Commerce 2011 Small Business Award Luncheon.
