CURBSIDE RECYCLING
Thank you for your interest in the Meridian Curbside Recycling Program. If you are looking for a way to reduce the amount of trash you generate, you may want to consider participating in the voluntary co-mingled recycling program. Recycling Carts SSC provides a co-mingled wheeled recycling cart to every residential household within the Meridian City limits that chooses to recycle. You must use a cart provided by SSC to participate in the curbside recycling program, and you can only put out the amount of recycling that fits inside the SSC wheeled cart with the lid closed. The carts come in two sizes, 65-gallon or 95-gallon, and are provided free of charge. Call 888-3999 to order a co-mingled recycling cart. Please note: Co-mingled recycling carts are the property of SSC and must remain at the service address, not with the customer, in the event of a move. Service Schedule Please place the front of the wheeled cart on the edge of the curb - not in the gutter - at least 3 feet from the nearest car or mailbox, and free of overhead obstacles (trees, basketball hoops, etc.) by 7:00 a.m. on your collection day. Trash is collected weekly. Recycling is collected every other week, on the same day as your trash. All recycling set out at the curb must fit inside the SSC wheeled cart with the lid closed. Homes are designated by “A Week” or “B Week” for bi-weekly recycling collection. You can find your bi-weekly recycling schedule by clicking on your trash day: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday If you don’t know your trash day, click here.
